As a business owner and entrepreneur sometimes it can be hard to identify what apps or services that we need to sign up for since the market is certainly inundated with options. So, I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite online tools that have helped me over the years.
The purpose of Asana, for me, is to manage all my monthly tasks! This goes from Bookkeeping and Accounting Clients to my very own bookkeeping to a few personal tasks that I want to stay on top of.
As far as project management systems go this is the one to use. Not only is it free, you can also add additional team members, use the app on your phone, and become more effective with your time. I also love the fact that they are always looking for ways to improve on, so there may be helpful changes coming to this application. This is my all-time favorite time management tool out there!
We actually use Canva for a variety of purposes. The first is for the professionally designed templates. The second is that we can use Canva Pro (subscription based) to post to social media channels.
Canva is such a wonderful tool to use, we use it practically everyday in order to create our branded images for social, or any other content that gets out into the world. Let your creative juices thrive with this tool!
I like to use Dropbox for online data and cloud management. I love the fact that I can also do file sharing with my team and my clients through Dropbox.
Consider this your cloud storage solution. I love being able to access documents wherever I am without needing to be connected to one particular computer. Dropbox does have upgrades available, but I wouldn't suggest upgrading until you REALLY need to.
Mailerlite is my email marketing management of choice. What more can I say?
I really enjoy the ease of using an email marketing management tool that can really do it all. Email campaigns, popups, automation, and surveys. To be honest, I have barely scratched the surface of what this tool can offer me! I've tried using other tools but this one has been the easiest for me. There are a few things that you will have to learn to navigate, but they're help section is actually really helpful!
Toggl is a time tracking tool. I know there are lots of options out there that can help you track your time, but this one has worked out beautifully for me and my team.
Have you ever considered how much time one tasks actually takes? To be honest, it wasn't until I started using Toggl religiously years ago that I realized how much time I was spending on my business. It's the tool that helped me decide if when I could go fulltime back in 2019. It's also the tool that have helped me update my pricing packages. If you haven't tracked your time, start now for free using Toggl.
QUICKBOOKS
Of course we use QuickBooks exclusively here at Accounting By Edrina. I am a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and it's the easiest solution for me and my clients to use.
